Practice Equipment Pack

You will need a practice GlucaGen HypoKit to use when you are doing the course. This will enable you to practice the technique you are taught in the course, on equipment you would use if your client needed you to inject them with glucagon.
- Complete the course work. Use the practice equipment to learn to use the equipment.
- Complete the end of course Quiz and achieve the pass mark of 95% or above (participants can repeat the quiz until they pass).
- After successfully passing the quiz, email admin1@edhealth.com.au to arrange to have your technique using the GlucaGen HypoKit reviewed and passed as competent via an Online Skills Check.
- Have your GlucaGen HypoKit technique passed as competent.
- Your certificate will be emailed to you on completion of these course elements.
During this course you will be provided with a procedure to use to help you learn the steps to follow when preparing and giving a GlucaGen HypoKit injection. Your Group Leader has the Practice Pack with practice equipment for you to use to practice the steps before having your technique evaluated in an Online Skills Check session. Make sure you practice the technique 5 times in a row so you are ready to show the Credentialled Diabetes Educator your technique.
